The COX LawnMaster Verticutter attaches to current LawnMaster cylinder mowers via the cassette system, adding vertical cutting to the machine's turf renovation capability. Available in 17" and 20" cassette sizes.

Verticutting uses vertically oriented blades to slice through the thatch layer and the surface of the soil in a controlled, directional pattern. Unlike scarification, which removes material more aggressively, verticutting produces precise, narrow grooves in the turf surface without extensive disruption. This stimulates the grass to produce denser, more upright growth and improves contact between overseeded material and the soil when used as part of a renovation programme.
